Welcome to the Neighbourhood!

My newest neighbour, right across the street from our Sidney office. The one and only Starbucks. It’s been open for a mere few hours and you walk in to find a welcoming, warm and friendly community space that feels like it’s always been there. Lots of benches and seating and super friendly staff. I think the green giant gets a bad wrap from some, saying it will hurt the local coffee shops but I disagree. This beautiful new shop will give locals a place to congregate and connect. The folks who frequent Starbucks will frequent Starbucks and the folks who believe it is a corporate giant will stay away. I for one, frequent ALL of our local coffee shops including the ‘Bux. They all have something unique and different to offer our little town of Sidney. When you’re looking to find my little Mortgage Shop on Beacon Ave, I’ll tell you, I’m right across from the Starbucks.
